ana and christian have fun in the playroom, ana allowing christian to do what he wants since it’s his birthday. while christian is on the phone, ana bakes him a cake. ana tells both her mom and rey about the engagement and though concerned, they’re happy for her. ana and christian go to his parents house. kate bursts in furious because she found the contract between ana and christian.

ana gives christian his other gift, a miniature helicopter of the “charlie tango”. they finally experiment in the playroom

ana and jose joke around in the kitchen about ana marrying christian for his money (she’s not). christian learns that jose and ana’s dads were in the military together and didn’t get back in touch until their kids were in college. they’re best buds now.

ana tells christian that she accepts his proposal. he then spins her around so un-fifty like and so carefree. they go in the shower, though ana is careful since jose is upstairs.

christian tells everyone about how he and his number 2 were flying 200 ft above the ground when both engines caught on fire and there was no service. after everyone leaves, christian tells ana that jose still has feelings for her which she brushes off. ana gives christian her gift, a keychain of seattle where on the back, is the word “yes”

they all go back to christian’s place, christian’s family is also there. ana reflects back on her memories with christian as they watch the news. christian then walks in and his entire family swarm him in hugs, eventually he gets to ana who finally cries knowing he’s ok.

ana and jose get drinks and catch up on life. ana walks in with ethan, ana is so happy to see her. elliot calls kate and wants to talk to ana, he freaked out telling her christian hasn’t returned and that his helicopter is missing.

ana sees photos of christian’s old subs in the playroom, ana gets a key to go in there from mrs jones. she emails christian about a surprise she has for him, he doesn’t respond back to her.

christian and ana get passionate in the elevator and eventually have sex. christian demanding ana to keep her eyes open

they have dinner on the 76th floor of a building to celebrate ana’s promotion. christian tells ana she can rip the NDA if she wants. christian gets all touchy with ana in the elevator rode down. ana gets nervous as people could see. she wants car sex as she’s never done it but christian leads her on, only for him to do nothing and they head to his apartment
