Can't bring myself to keep on turning the pages. This was supposed to be my start to the Dostoevsky journey but I think I'm already out of breath. At this point in this book, the houses and trees have more intense personas than the actual people. Maybe that's the core satire of the whole story?? I think I'll have to continue reading to find out.
