In this chapter, the mother asks Noah to get ready for a dinner but Noah comes out in shorts and t-shirt and then her mum says to change back into a nice outfit for the meal for this one time. The mum expects Noah to change into the outfit she had chose but no Noah chose what she wanted to wear. Then they get to the meal and Noah realised nick is being bratty towards the waitress and Noah asks why and he gets angry.

In this chapter Noah and her mother move to California to move in with Noah’s new husband William lestier. Noah is not happy about this move at all as she wants to stay with her boyfriend and friends. When they arrive at the house Noah acts quite rude and sarcastic as she doesn’t want to be there. Then she sees her room and is amazed. Then she goes to the kitchen to get a snack and sees her new brother nick.
