I'm reminded of the first Spider-Man movie. He got out early so he gets a reduced cut from what was promised. Nevermind that he did way better than anyone expected him to.

I'd have liked for the romance to be a little bit less rushed. At one time they spat and argue, at next they're sweethearts - basically a single paragraph to get it all over with.

Always liked a good romance. Rare to actually see a good one.

Sudden escalation.

I feel that in a world where interstellar travel is relatively casual, you should be able to get a knee properly checked.

My home library labeled this as #1 of the series. Looks like it lied.

But, also, looks accessible enough to start from that point anyway. A prequel? Sure.
