This book is fine, I guess. I sense a good story in there, but the author is drawing it out too long for me. Is that called a slow burn? Then in this case, I do not like a slow burn. And if the author doesn’t land the plane in a satisfying way, I will feel like I wasted my time. So it’s sitting unread for now.
