Ok I got to admit the kiss scene was still pretty romcom typical 😒

I think this book broke ever romcom rule ever
1 it wasn’t love at first sight
2 it also wasn’t enemies to lovers
3 they actually became friends before really liking each other
4 they talked about it almost immediately after they started liking each other
5 they weren’t totally sappy idiots in their heads

The first time a teen romcom girl hasn’t been a complete idiot

Ok so I think the reason I thought this book was so cringey was because of the narrators voice reminded me of a really bad book I read but it’s the least dumb of the teen romance novels I read
