weeks since the sun flares? so i thought wait yeah makes sense; the current “emails” i’m reading are dated 217-219 and are defo not 2 years apart, but the emails in previous books are dated in 240s (?) and TKO is set 13/14 years before the main trilogy, so again it doesn’t make sense 😭 i hate character limits let me keep rambling.

i am NOT understanding how the dates work in these books, i assumed they were set 200 years from now as “emails” are dated eg 219.2.12, someone on reddit was saying did they reset the calendar after a major event which is why there’s a missing 2 but i assumed just like ‘26, twice in this book the year 2020 is mentioned so that then doesn’t make sense? then i saw a comment on that post about it maybe being

okay at first i was thinking with marks headaches that he absolutely had the flare, and then he thought it himself, but now he’s found trina again im thinking does he actually have it? he must,,, but also then how has he been the first one of the group to exhibit symptoms when him and alec were away during the festering period

mark really does not gaf about lana 😭

i’m so struggling with mixing up mark and alec’s names. i either feel like they’re too similar or they should be swapped (idk mark seems more like an older man’s name and alec sounds like a younger guy)

first time i’ve seen someone in apocalypse media experience ptsd from the initial fallout
