The fact the Brotherhood are all cat guys is very, very pleasing. And at least now they’re going to have a proper vampire-proof fortress and stronghold. Only took centuries!

No one wanted to double check that Mr X was still, for want of a better word, alive?

Darius’ house may not have been built as a military fortress but why are the windows not reinforced against UV rays? If all manner of vampires congregate there, why is it not vampire-proof? Why is the security system so poor and the house itself so easily infiltrated? Were the Brotherhood not prepared for such a possibility? No one is infallible.

It seems Butch is as easily distracted in the…romance department as Beth is. His entrancement with the beautiful Marissa is so total that he’s forgotten he went to Darius’ house in the hopes that Beth would not die from what he believed were withdrawals. I just wish Marissa had been able to search for her soulmate for a longer period. As Wrath’s centuries-long, lonely shellen, she definitely deserves more.
