It’s interesting. My biased in adoring a strong, will powered female protagonist (especially a Midwife!) is one thing … but this book has such a favorable plot with so much to offer. I am cross referencing some herbalism information + herbs I have never heard of, the author accurately describes how they are used. You can tell Manning put a lot of research into this to make Axie’s character come to life. 😍
