Finished the 4th and 5th short stories. Both solid reads. Both much more straightforward than the previous stories and not as much intrigue, although I enjoyed my time with them.

Another long car ride. Finished two more short stories, which were both great. The third short story, Family Furnishings, was quite enthralling and the secret revealed in the closing moments was so well done. Said without directly being said.

Picked this up at a bookstore in Canada. Saw it was a collection of short stories from a female author. The whole point of my 12 book challenge this year is to make sure all of the books I read are different.
Finished the first of the nine short stories. Enjoyed the shifting perspectives and detailed character work. Off to a great start!
