The concept for the story is very compelling. A country wide man hunt for prize money? Heck yeah! It’s also a decently easy read. However, it throws around slurs every other page and despite Ben being married, he just has to get up in every woman’s business. He’s probably one of the least likable protagonists I’ve read :P

yo why does the book say stephen king on the cover but richard bachman as the author on goodreads?
