A bit confused why Claire didn't even seem to clock Ava's intentions behind mentioning "liking them young too"?? Like hello- girl, tell Tom his co-worker came over unannounced to drop of scotch and then went and accused Claire of having the hots for a teen just bc he and some other teens were over doing a job they'd been paid for (hauling away junk- smt smt raise money for school trip). This book was not at all what I expected and is a very fast book to read. I consider myself a fast reader but have found myself surprised when what I thought was 5 pages was actually 10 pages read. I'm really curious what the twist to horror will be as so far I find the house kinda nice(?) What it can do is horror ofc! But Claire found out so fast the house's abilities it almost feels cozy the way they work together!
