Finished book 1 of 3 in this volume. Somewhat dry so far even by Stephenson’s standards—a lot of exposition but I suppose this is only book 1 of 9 in the series. I like the sciencey bits with Newton, Hooke and Leibniz etc. Need to brush up on my 17th century English history to keep better track of all the noble families
I will take a break with something lighter before returning.
