i understand that charlotte and lu are queer and they relate to oliver in that way, but oliver’s situation is completely different and them insisting that its similar in the hopes of him settling down with some man is so annoying. like yes you have to marry a man despite your love for women, which is awful, but at least you get constant breaks from that. (+)

oliver would have to not only marry a man he doesn’t love but he would also have to present as a women. he would never get a break from that. especially when charlotte gets married because her house wouldn’t be a safe heaven anymore.
