I love how Liz and Helena got to a good place, firstly I love that because of what Liz talked of her mum (she isn’t anything like Helena) and even if they were similar… Helena didn’t want to take her place in Liz’s life, she just wants to feel included in her life. And I love her!!!

I cried in the last few chapters because seeing from Liz perspective — Wes the guy she loves arriving with Alex, it was like “gosh!!!! Why?” But I loved the fact Wes pretty much from the beginning of book he was always HIM, so in a good part I was “ok why it seems he’s holding it all together… the entire book.” But they figured it out. Liz is weird and that’s how she is and Wes accepts that. Loves it

So in a way I get her because I already felt like that. And we need to remember this is a romcom, even that entire thing where she arranges this surprise for Wes, and then he appears with Alex — and she starts bubbling about their situation with a metaphor using coins. It made me laugh but I get you at the same time — awkward and cheesy, but it was supposed to be like that.

I don’t get the part that she already recognized that Michael wasn’t the one and STILL didn’t told Wes. BUT … seeing it from my own eyes as a 27 year old, that would happen. Not to everyone but is relatable. She was confused, grieving, hurting, handling all this feelings she never had felt before and for a 17 year old that’s plenty.

Ok… I’m just so sad about Joss she really didn’t deserved all this but I loved how they handle it afterwards. But still that was low Liz…

And the outburst with Wes… was real between two teenagers who love each other but one keeps the distance and doesn’t come up straight about what she’s feeling and the other is ok to say the TRUTH… even if that hurts a little hear. But that’s life Liz, is hard… Wes was just telling u what your mom would’ve say if she was there with you. 😭💯🥹

And Joss? I kind of get her… it’s bullshit! But I get Liz too.

Omg… Wes what the hell boy, and you didn’t even say anything when Michael asked her to prom? I know… she didn’t told u she was totally into you instead of Michael but the kiss was pretty explanatory.
