Well thats the 4th book down. Best for last i suppose. Little sense of nostalgia finishing this sucker off after reading rage 2 years ago. SK/RB is hard to deny. Flaws aplenty but probably no better pulpy one out there. Running man was fun and more to say as a whole forthwith..

Finished roadwork and really quickly (like 2 days) no less. Pretty good, gritty, quick and dirty. There’s a reason king is a household name. Roadwork is a basic premise, the plot is predictable, the characters are shallow but the story is still a fun one. Plenty of horror and tragedy but fitted into a suburban, midlife crisis lens… Looking forward to running man

Finished the long walk. 3 stars, glad it wasnt longer. Ambiguous ending that makes you wonder. Hard to believe its a 45 year old story, for that reason its fairly impressive as far as a psychological, albeit teeny bopperish thriller.

Started “the long walk” book 2 of 4 in the set.
