I love listening to comedic memoir-style books when they are written in the form of essays so that you can pick them up and put them down as the chapters progress. I found the chapters on being 40 and making friends to be particularly helpful and relatable. Listening to the book by the author was great— her tonal inflection kept me laughing. If you’re looking for a nice easy read for the summer this is it.
