I really enjoy the preface and learning about how Murakami and his team found the victims. I wonder if people would be more willing to share if theinterviews happened a few years later and not barely a year after. But maybe that would leave time for them to forget details or the mind coping in some way.
Looks like Murakami got personally attached which, well, it's just human I guess.
