William Alderman’s Reviews > An Introduction to Medieval Theology > Status Update

The Aquinas section is fascinating especially how he approaches learning who God is and all of the mystery involved with learning God

Peter Lombard section is fascinating.

Highly recommend to understand what questions these theologians were trying to answer.

Hugh St. Victor talks of how love transforms every action you ever take and requires the whole soul. This leads him to go onto say that Faith is not merely intellectual and leads to a transformed heart where we see the whole world differently. Lots of good chapters in this book!

Highly recommend this book. Shows there were so many good things written in this era.
