I read this when I was 11 because it was shelved as middle grade on accident. Ruined my childhood, I remember staring up at the ceiling in silence after finishing it late at night. Revisiting as an adult and it’s so interesting to see how this impacted my taste and the things I’d grow up to enjoy!
