I actually think that was such an unnecessary comment

And I’m supposed to believe this 40-year-old man is a professor at Harvard and he’s thinking stuff like this? Get out of town.

Not sure how I feel about that

The fact that that’s the funniest thing that’s been said in this entire book is crazy

You’re telling me these old men, who are supposed to be respected cardinals, are cheering the name Carlos, that’s so pathetic

“There, on the right of Jesus, arms outstretched to the world… Stood Camerlengo Carlo Ventresca.”

That is possibly one of the most dramatically written sentences that I’ve ever read in my life truly arms did not need to be outstretched

“This was a one-way trip.”

That is possibly the funniest thing Robert Langdon has said in this entire book and I have a feeling it’s not supposed to be funny

To be quite frank this ambigram looks pretty lame compared to the rest. I feel like like the author and whoever he had had design these ambigrams ran out of symbols/words to use so they kind of just combined them all like it’s supposed to impress me and truly I’m not that impressed

Genuinely, me (a person who has not studied symbology) knows how stamps work and obviously if you’re staring at the stamp you’re not seeing the correct image and for a character who claims to be a professor at Harvard and intelligent he’s not very smart

“The presence of a Harvard professor in Vatican City had somehow raised the whole emergency beyond the scope of paranoid delusion and convinced skeptics around the world that the illuminati brotherhood was not only a historical fact”

Truly, I don’t think the presence of a Harvard professor is making anyone take this more seriously— someone is full of themselves
