Marias speaks to me on every level. A champion of overthinking who makes you realize through his meticulous paranoia that anyone who criticizes overthinking is just threatened. True overthinking is something you'd commiserate with someone over and at the same time celebrate the misunderstood advantages others despise. With Marias there is the shape of a story, yes, but mostly its the depths of different minds.
