Seriously, I'm starting to love Mitch more and more. Also, Sam is completely clueless; I adore how he's absolutely oblivious to the clues this poor boy appears to be sending him.

OMG, as if I didn't love the entire premise of the book being an homage to Sixteen Candles, I now have the Altered Images version of Happy Birthday stuck in my head. (I also once had Clare's haircut from that vid.)
And while I didn't mind Sam & Jake hooking up in the movie...I'm barely 20 minutes into this book & I'm already hoping that THIS Sam ends up with Mitch instead.
