Really enjoying the first few pages! Very easy to read and full of information. Douglas is returning to Chicago to kickoff his third campaign for a Senate seat in Illinois. His opponent this time is Lincoln, who he knew from their time in the Illinois legislature before parting ways.

Very easy to read the book! Reads very smooth and I am enjoying the history. The author has set the stage by giving Lincoln and Douglas’s history together before the Senate race and their different political opinions.
