Chapter 7.. ok it’s getting better with the skipping whole paragraphs now. Storyline is getting better too

Really dislike the audio for this book. Skipping full paragraphs of backstory within the first 3 pages to then skipping actual pages all within the first chapter.
I feel confused because I was focusing on trying to find where I was the whole chapter and when I did it would be one sentence then skip a whole page and continue on. May just listen to audio and Not follow along in the book.
