Such an enjoyable series of vignettes. Every character is deep and important and (me). Visibility is so important at any age. I see so much of Sandra Cisneros influence on Elisabet Velasquez and Elizabeth Acevedo's work. Glad i finally got to this book. <3 wish I would've read it as a kid - but its never to late and books always come to you when they're supposed to. <3
