Slow burn romantasies should take a page from this book oh my god so good

Back to this book, which is a genuinely good one, and a wonderful series, and I’m so happy to be back. I feel a certain affinity to Jack, in a way where, I feel if I try I will disappoint everyone. No matter what I do, it won’t be enough. I don’t know, it’s a weird feeling and Jack just says this is how life has been for him forever. Like everyone a wants him around but he never shows up. Easier that way.

I love this book and this series! Needed a little break to appreciate it. The characters are so precious, I love Della. And I slowly am understanding Jack more.

Work isn’t so bad today… but I know everyone coming in to get books is going outside or tanning today… I might jump in the pool after work and then shower… who knows, a little sun would probably be good for me

Such a beautiful, beautiful morning, and I work a double… hughhhhhhh I’m glad I woke up a little early to read though, it was peaceful
