I’m struggling. I enjoy the plot, but the writing style is such a slog. I’m exhausted just trying to read it!

I feel the same! I’m enjoying the second half though.. if you can get through it. The first half was a slog for me and it took me weeks. It’s a shame because there was so much momentum from the end of book 1! The writing style is too flowery, everything is drawn out.
