So I really hate flashbacks and that's all that's going on in this book. I'm also bothered by Fisher's approach: he clearly betrayed his wife and hurt the hell out of her, even if he was doing it for her own good. So why are you returning smirking, goading, sparring? My guy, get on your damn knees and beg. The arrogance is really putting me off.
