Chapter one has Nick Shay and Klara Sax reunite in the Desert in 1992, they reminisce, there is reflection, lost dreams and opportunities, nostalgia, and unsaid reconciliation. There are thoughts and conversations of art in a world of war, wast and destruction. Loving this book so far.

The prologue about the 1951 Giants Victory over dodgers is the most amazing beginning to a book I have ever read. Literally want to read it again, I loved it so mucho. And I am a Dodgers fan. Hehe. So intense, funny, gross, excitingly vivid. I felt I was there and could hear the sounds, the food, the mayhem. The betrayal. Great stuff! Looking forward to the rest of this book!
