I’ve noticed this book repeats, similar instances and happenings from the first one: Malcolm being injured and going on a scientific rant under the guys of pain and drugs while someone works on his wounds it’s very similar to the first book. I do like the trailer sequence more here than in the movie, the lost world. I’m interested to see how it’s gonna end because there’s a lot more in the movie vs book.

I think Ian Malcolm’s portrayal in the movies is better than his betrayal in the book, but I would’ve liked to see a different portrayal of Sarah Harding and the rest of the group of scientist and the two kids that tagalong in this adventure versus the other group with Dodgson.

This book is insane! I really like to settle differences between this and the movie: it’s more intense and scarier here and less family adventure, and I appreciate that. I would love to see sometime in the future this be remade in a miniseries format of some kind to give enough time to introduce a new characters and explore the subtle changes a little more.

I do wish the movies were more violent like the kills are in the books.

Triceratops vs Raptor!!!

I’m liking to differences in how the group gets to the island and how it does happen in one night.

I do enjoy the technical and scientific jargon and both the first and this book more show than what was in the movies. I do feel like it’s a little too wordy and I get that it’s to explain the full point like the chapter that just ended regarding evolution and how it started versus where we’re at now in the differences between the mammals then human babies now. I feel like it was done better than the first book
