I really barely understand why I'm supposed to care about any of these characters but I'm still chalking it up to the fact that this isn't a great audio experience and maybe I would like the actual reading more?

All the reviews say that the second half is interesting and let me tell you the second half better do a HUGE lift cause right now its the author pretending to be smart while not saying anything new or substantive. Also these characters are SNOOZETacular.
