Starting off, this book is completely different from the first, and I’m loving it. Finished the first drawing featuring The Prisoner, Eddie Dean. Eddie is a whacked out, facetious junkie that is completely opposite of Roland’s character who had lots of love for his brother, and heroin. Their dynamic was addicting to read and I can’t wait for their adventure recruiting the two other people.

After finishing The Lady and Re-Shuffle, I think this book lost a little bit of steam. I just didn’t find these chapters as interesting as Eddie Deans. The Odetta and Detta conflict was messing with their plans of finding the third door, so it makes sense and relationships were being built such as Eddie getting closer with Roland and having an interest in Odetta. Excited starting the pusher and seeing Jake again.
