What an achievement! This book is pure adrenaline. It’s as if Cormac McCarthy came back for an encore. The prose is immaculate. The structure, which I found disconcerting at first, is absolutely essential to the reading experience. The ending is perfect. I’d give it 6 stars if I could. Wow.
