More than probably any of the other books in the Marvel Noir series, Luke Cage adheres to the classic noir trope that no one is necessarily a good guy, and that the lead character is down-on-luck, and in-a-pinch. Luke fits the bill with his original origin story of being an ex-convict. Other than (surprisingly) Spider-Man, Luke Cage has been my favorite in the Marvel Noir series so far.
