I don't remember this being epistolary, and I have the same problem with it as I do with every post-apocalyptic epistolary novel. I don't believe Lauren is walking 12+ hours a day, with minimal rations, and while getting maybe 6 hours of sleep, and also writing a couple thousand words by hand around the fire every night before passing out. I just don't.
