I think Poe was right…. A poem should be readable in one sitting. Queen Mab + Alastor back to back were 74 pages and I got the main idea but couldn’t finish them. But now I know not to feel bad if I skip any more of his or Keat’s longer poems lol

I’m giving up on Queen Mab like I’ve read over 30 pages but the poem still has another 18 and I get the idea…. Moving onto the next one, Alastor, and really hoping I’m not allergic to long-form poetry
