Literally in the middle of Chapter 29 and I have to say… 😂
Why is the excerpt from The Perfect Stranger actually BEAUTIFULLY written compared to Disclaimer?! 😭

Like ma’am… I’m enjoying the book within the book more than the actual book. 💀

Y’all… I’m STRUGGLING. 😂 The timeline is all over the place, I’m constantly asking “WHAT YEAR ARE WE IN?!” and the “had had” situation is out of control. 😭

I’m confused, but something is telling me to just FINISH THIS DAMN BOOK. 😂

Currently: Who wrote the book in the book lmao?! What is actually happening?! And why am I working this hard to read?!

I can’t get into this book! There’s a lot of timeline hops that just make it confusing.

The beginning keeps jumping between two years earlier and Spring 2013, and it's giving me Challengers vibes with all the timeline hopping. 😅 It was a little much at first, but now that I'm on page 29, it's finally getting interesting.
My only complaint so far is the constant use of "had had." 😂 This was a $5 Barnes & Noble Monthly Pick, so I'm hoping it keeps getting better! 🤞📖
