Currently I’m 11% into the book. The premise didn’t give much of a background aside from there were I think five daughters in the story. One of them attempted self harm because of a strict environment and isolation. This book is narrated through the lense of the Lisbon’s Family. So far I’m liking the plot of this book so far because of it’s modern theme and how some of it reflects our current state of life

I also read from the reviews that this book can get pretty disturbing. Others also mentioned that when they told their friends that this book felt close to home, friends and relatives started to ask how they have been. Well- I’m fine guys if anyone asks : )
