Seriously bad writing. It feels clunky and over thought out. Maybe it’s been written and put through AI as it’s just diabolical.
I also feel that the author has not done any research into what she is writing. For one, if you’re going to use mead, do some research before you describe a sweet drink as a bitter liquid. Then in the next paragraph state it’s been distilled?! Seriously do your research
