I absolutely cannot wait to read the next volume!

I can’t fault her for her feelings for him though, Serpico should’ve told her. I still hope that he will. But it is so complicated now. She is the reason he killed his mother! I loved the complexities of his portrayal of the scenes of him caring for her and his monologues. They were perfectly human. What a story.

Farnese is seriously sick in the head! But I do understand why she is the way she is. I wonder if it’ll ever change. She has serious Behelit-attracting qualities! The first time she and Serpico met after saving him she said “I am the one who saved your life, so you now belong to me.”…that’s almost what Griffith said to Guts when he “recruited” him. I’m scared!

And “Of Snow and Flames” the First and Final Acts were so good! It explains both Farnese and Serpico’s actions and the way they are so much. Serpico’s story was so tragic! Being born a bastard of the Vandimion family and left to care and provide for his mother, renounce his name, and made to burn his mother with his own hands at the stake…what a terrible thing!
