very authentic to authors point of view, clearly defines human trafficking and situations perpetrators use to exploit victims into trafficking, gives a raw retelling of the most harrowing traumas Virginia experienced (which i think this book does in a very appropriate way as a lot of sexual abuse is not FULLY understood by those who haven’t experienced it) +displaying non-stigmatized PTSD perspective is refreshing
