I tried reading this in third grade for a book report. Somehow not reading all of it and wrote about the first 50 or so pages and asked my brother about the whole thing. Kinda cool I get to read this out loud to the baby. Lots of small unfinished childhood matters are being completed as a dad. Some are bigger than others. Bfg is ironically a small serendipitous yay moment.

Sorry sorry sorry… it’s just that Dahl made giant farts really entertaining. You don’t read about farts much. The stupid animated movies got um and they are stinky poo… those make me want to rip my eyes out but not sweet sweet Dahl. His descriptions of farts are like poetry. Mia Angelou levels of beauty.
