I read until around then and put it back on my shelf. People rave about it and I wondered if I just wasn’t in the mood for it. It was so slow

I almost DNF-ed, but I’m so glad I stuck with it. I ended up loving it. I listened to the audiobook and I think that helped.
I DNF'd this one on audio. I can't remember how far in it was, but it wasn't that far. Just not into it. Maybe I'll pick it up another time in the future.
