Done! So it took six days, not five. I was worried that King will ruin the moment with the epilogue. Ending at page 872 would have been perfect. But noooo, he has to go on for five more pages, bringing up stuff that could and should be left out. Quit while you’re ahead! Even so, this was a great read with excellent characters. It was also very cinematic. It’ll make a great TV series! 4.5 stars rounded…up.

“Sorrow and love are a single coin-the one we pay as the price of our humanity. Take it away and we’d be the worst kind of poor.” On to Book 5! All the pieces are laid out on the chess board now so things should be heading to a climax.

End of Book 3, which I think will be the heart of the book. The devastating consequences was a highlight as was the character reflection. Reminds me of Death Note. Looks like Colin’s POV is next and I said awhile back that he reminds me of a character from A Secret History and that ain’t a good thing. Am I gonna be reading a villain arc? This story continues to be excellent and is still at a possible 5 stars.

Just finished Book 2. The countdown to doom was delightfully absurd, funny and full of tension. There’s more foreshadowing and I’m sure Daphne will have a big part to play, but it’s going to be stretched out until the end. Book 3 seems to be in Van’s POV, which I’m looking forward to. Donna is messed up and I’m thinking her POV is next and Colin’s will follow. The twisted Knights of the Round continues!

Okay, whoa, hold up now Joe! What is this malarkey I’m reading? USS Nimitz = Navy. F-16 Falcon = Air Force. The two don’t mix! This is a mistake equivalent to an officer in some military movie wearing his ribbons in the wrong order on his uniform. And it’s BoyZ II Men, not Boys! They’re my favorite band of all time. This is fiction but if you’re going to use real-life stuff then you need to get it right!
