Just finished chapter 20 and TEAM CALLUM ftw! Prob one of my fave chapters. I take back everything criticism I said before about DM - I livvveeee for this yearning and devotion. 🥹☺️🥰

I’m struggling. Idk if it’s the audio format but there are so many contradictory things and statements that don’t add up that break the immersion. Like we spend a whole chapter pining over someone and hear about the torment they go through in their routine training sessions but then the other pov she says she she avoids him at all costs and a bunch of other contradictory stuff so is it just unreliable nar or ??

Guys. This is INTENSE. Daggermouth doesn’t pull any punches, but they don’t always land either. Feeling mixed.

I like the female voice artists voice and Shade is such a wild, fierce baddie. She’s clever and rough. Love her character so far

MMC is kinda dramatic lol. Idk if it’s the male VO or if it’s author choice to make all the men so emotionally dramatic but phew. Let’s all take a breath. Ok?

Ok I love yearning man but does he really have to air out all her personal secrets and weaknesses to a room full of other daggers? Sigh…

Oh it’s getting goood. Still feeling dark and gritty but decidedly more brutal…and these political maneuvers and power plays are so wild

This is so dark and gritty. I love the vibe and majority of the story but am feeling friction with the writing. Idk if it is the audiobook format or the book itself but definitely stilll invested enough to continue.
