I wish it had more of a bottom-up focus on why normal people supported the Nazis (from 37% to 33% then 43% of the population in Spring 32, November 32, and Spring 33 respectively) but I guess the catch-all explanations of their moderation on economics, their promises to decisively end political chaos, their autarkist farm policy, and the energy associated with extreme nationalism and Hitler’s leadership suffice.
