I like that Levine is showing both a side of Ivy that seems interested in Aza’s wellbeing, but can just as easily manipulate her based on her desire to appear as a better person to the wider court.

The main plot is right around the corner, I see.

This is the second middle grade novel I’ve read recently where the writing falls flat for me. IDK why.
