What I don't understand is. why is she giving her sister a crap for getting scammed just because she needs to be the "smarter" one? Like, sometimes shit happened in life. You can be smart and still getting scammed... or is there something I'm missing here?

Ahahah not yet. I'm taking a break from Japanese cozy fiction. I read a lot of them last month. So far there has always been some kind of convenience store / stationery shop / pawn shop / coffee shop / little shop of knickknacks.
eyrc thats true, i had a goal of reading books from the same month it was released to reduce my tbr, but i noticed these books are just getting repetitive. i understand why u need to take a break. i feel like that would be me tooo soon :(
