One of the best graphic novels I've ever read so far. Jason Lutes does what most films about Germany failed to do, he conveys the complexities of German society with a masterful narration, beautiful graphic ink drawings and the most perfect sequential art. This is the closest a graphic novel gets to be a masterpiece.
